The CDC is a government bureaucracy just like any other. Why would you trust their recommendation? I worked in Drug Development in a biotechnology company for several years. The Pharmas, the FDA, the NIH, and the CDC are not altruistic organizations only looking out for our best interests.

It was definitely ‘attack Perry’ night and Michele Bachmann was the worst. She went way down in my estimation.
Yankees criticising a Texas governor about immigration problems is way stupid. They have no idea of the Texas situation. Perry has tried to tell people the truth but they won’t listen.
There are just too many miles involved and too many ways to thwart a fence — climb over, dig under ... We need more sophisticated ways to stop illegals and have gotten no help from Obama, of course.
Technology and manpower, maybe.
The best-qualified people are rarely the strongest candidates. They rarely even run.

Perry tried to disarm the issue by admitting he was wrong but the blood was already in the water.
It’s because it’s all they have. His record governing makes all the others pale in comparison. We aren’t electing a master debater but someone who can start working to undo the crap 0bama has shoved through in his fundamental transformation of the country.
I thought Perry seemed a little taken aback by all the hate handed to him tonight, but he handled it pretty well.
He’s our best bet if Palin doesn’t get in.

I did not write that I trust them. I wrote that FWIW, the CDC certified it and recommends it. I do not know about Gardasil and I do not particulary care one way or the other since the issue is presently dead in Texas. There are around 20 other states that have laws mandating it. I am curious, do you believe the CDC is out to gratuitously kill people?
