You're joking, right? Please tell us that you don't really believe that removing one word makes for an excerpt.

Proper excerpts of articles which contain 600 words or less need at least half removed with no continuation in the thread.

Proper excerpts of articles greater in length than 600 words should only have 300 words upon final posting with no continuation in the thread.
