I saw the GOP debate and the Greta interview with Palin and Bachman. I am absolutely against Perry's mandate of the Gardasil vaccine. On policy grounds. Period.
But, to see the two ladies pile on with corruption charges against Perry was truly disgusting. If they have any proof that Perry mandated the vaccine to profit Merck, I am the first one who wants it. And, if proof emerges that he did so, I will be the first one to revoke my support for him.
It happens in the industry all the time. Acquaintances get you an audience. So, in this case, the fact that Perry's previous staffer was a lobbyist must have gotten the meeting. A meeting to hear about this wonderous cancer curing drug. Nothing corrupt about it. Is there more to the reason Perry made such a call? Possible/Probable. Evidence of it? None so far.
Come on. Do Palin and Bachman have to resort to gutter politics to get themselves better positioned?
His former chief of staff was the Merck lobbyist. They also gave Perry campaign contributions. Furthermore, on education issues, when Texas adopts a policy, other States follow (see textbook changes). Other States did follow with mandates of their own. This is what crony capitalism is all about. Wake up, people.
Would be candidates should act accordingly.

He proved to me he is for sale...price negotiable...~
Yeah, it had nothing to do with the dozens of articles in the MSM, and our own so called conservative media saying that, right?
No Journolist meme there, nope, nothing to see there, just move along..........
She endorsed him for Governor in a race Vs. K Bailey Huchenson. In an either-or I’d pick Rick too.
Do you people have a problem with a person protecting their name? Dont duck it Rita, answer the question. Why does her trademarking her name offend you so?”
I heard that she trademarked her name, but by the word “trademark” I allude actually to her million dollar contract with FOX if that means she is now going to use it not to pontificate on principles, but snipe from the trees anyone she pleases, while she herself hightails to the high ground out of the line of fire from the meanie media, off the field and behind the skirts of the choir. As Perry’s book title indicates. She is one moving NO SHOW. She is a runner alright, but not in the best sense of the word. Running from the media during her campaign experience. Running from the media during her governor experience. Running from contending because the media is going to be there. Just running. Bussing. Two to one she gets an endorsement. From NIKE running shoes.
A come on...most of us know who the REAL troll is...:oP
Not true.
This time four years ago Thompson and Giuliani were leading the polls. One of the advantages Perry has right now is that he is an unknown quantity to many. A month ago I was all set to jump aboard the Perry bandwagon, but a statement he made about the Texas DREAM Act made me take a close look. When all the skeletons come out of the closet, Rick will be toast.
You said: “For the first time, Sarah disappointed me.”
I feel exactly the same way.
'nuff said~
Liberals are working hard to pretend that Perry's the guy to beat, the "most electable" to hype him, especially to social conservatives.
Wait until he gets the nod, then watch ever media outlet ram this Gardasil connection to Perry's former chief of staff until even the unenlightened wake up and realize Perry's not so conservative and not at all a "social conservative!"
Well just to set the record straight, my mom is blind. She listens to Rush, Mark Levin and Hannity and the local news. She listens to Palin when she’s on and has become emotionally attached. She’s been extremely vocal in her support but it appears to her that Palin is just stringing people along at this point. My mother has excellent instincts.
Palin running from the media.... BWAAAHAHAHAH!!!
Do you even care how insane that looks? Rita, Freepers are a generous lot. There are many here I’m sure who would pony up to purchase you a clue.
Quite right. I was surprised to see the level of support for Perry, who just a couple of years ago was almost universally despised on Free Republic.
But, yes, as the details come out, and voters learn more about him, his numbers will drop.
Well that's a real compliment for her! Perry has been a disappointment on issue after issue for me....
Anybody who claimed Gov Palin was wrong on anything she said on Greta’s show did not watch her interview. She was right on.
You must not want a person who tells it like it is if you got disenchanted because SP brought up the crony-ism. Perry has a lot of things that will hurt him-givng aid to illegals.
