Of course Egypt is in anarchy.. it was planned this way. The fall of Mubarak initially brought jubilation, then uncertainty, more demonstrations and now the anarchy stage. Next up will be the Muslim Brotherhood, who will establish itself and gain popular backing as the one force that can establish order.. under strict sharia, of course.

Islamists are playing this like a fiddle. It worked for them in post-Soviet-occupation Afghanistan and Iran, following the fall of the Shah. And, unfortunately, it`ll probably play out that way after U.S. troops leave Iraq.

The speed Obama is moving toward a 3,000 troop level in Iraq, you can bank on that. That _er would sell out anyone and anything to get re-elected.

Of course, Egypt is not Afghanistan or Somalia. It has nearly 85 million people. Unlike Gaza, it cannot be kept afloat with UN aid. If it implodes, its going to be Hellfire and Brimstone chaos like hasn’t been seen since WWII.

And...I’m okay with that.
