In my Army time, I spent one tour on the east west German border patrolling said border.

Wow, whereabouts? I was assigned to the 2nd ACR in Nuremberg from '89 to '92. We were responsible for the Czechoslovak border and East Germany up to Fulda.

Bad Kissingen. When I got there we were the 2/14th ACR. Later the 2/14th deactivated we became the 2/11th ACR, the Black Horse. Our border camp was Camp Wollbock. I was there from June 1971 through December 1972.
