My job takes me to farms and suburban homes where I am “charged” 4-6 times a day by dogs.
Sure they bark at me... they’re dogs, ffs.
They either come close to sniff and greet me
or maintain a distance from me that they find comfortable.
NEVER have I felt the need to shoot them.
This behavior by police is cowardly BS.
What? It’s not like you need a gun to take out a bear, ferchrissake...
I have a similar job, and have approached doors with Rotts, Dobes, etc. in the front yard. I’ve never needed a firearm to defend myself, but that box of milkbones in the front of my car has sure come in handy a few times.
