I just looked at the current headlines and they are now blaming it on worries about Europe.

[investors remained skeptical about how much of President Barack Obama’s $447 billion proposal to generate U.S. jobs would make it through Congress.]

Nice spin. The stock market is down because they doubt the plan will pass not because it is more of the same failed policies.

Dow is down 341 right now. Of course with Europe collapsing and the mideast threatening to burst into flame, obama's puny PR stunt may not be all that significant. I doubt anyone expected much more from him to begin with.

They’d blame it on anything up to and including a cloud passing in front of the sun so long as it isn’t Obama.

Can’t wait for the EU to implode. Should be fun to watch and I’ll get to clean up in a couple of betting pools. Not to mention grind some smug Euros’ noses in it.

Europe collapsing is a problem so serious, you could almost give Obama a pass for it except that he's trying the same policies.

Europe's debt is killing them. Their entitlement culture and dishonest government accounting is making the problem unsolvable. If Obama was pointing at them as an object lesson of failure, and pulling us in the opposite direction, I'd give him a pass for their effect on us. As it stands, he's not just as dumb as Europe. He's dumber, and less worthy of a break than the Greeks.

This doesn’t make sense because Obama is the jobs President...? Everywhere you look are jobs Obama has “created” (ALL in his own imagination but still he created them)
He is the greatest President ever!

-357 at 3:01.

I guess this will be a bench mark for (.)bama speeches before a joint house, a speech he demanded.

According to PSMNBC the stock market is tanking because the evil Republicans are obstructing the will of 0bama. If Congress would obey 0bama’s commands the earth, the seas, and the economy would all heal.

Markets down -3% at this moment.

Remember at 3.5% the losses in the market will exceed the amount of Obama's stimulus. So taken together it will have no effect on the immediate economy, but will run up debt hobbling the future economy.

First sentence, reuter’s spin is on.

In their opinion, the reason the stock market is tanking is not because of the obvious explanation, Obama’s useless speech, but because traders think people are too stupid to see how brilliant it is, and those evil republicans will try and stop his brilliant bill!

“I just looked at the current headlines and they are now blaming it on worries about Europe.”

Earlier today Cavuto said it “had nothing to do with Obama’s speech”.
