Obama was talking up the possibility of terrorist attacks a while back also. I thought, “Oh, no. They’re trying to get somebody to attack us. Projecting their plans.”

Drudge had the “Be Afraid” and “Be Not Afraid” headlines juxtaposed to show the mixed signals from the administration (not sure when would be the best time to pull the terrorism card out?)

This article said Napolitano got a tip on Thursday morning and she told reporters at that time that there were no credible, specific threats because they hadn’t yet sorted out whether this threat was credible. According to the article, many intelligence analysts still don’t find it credible because there are discrepancies in what the informant claims, but at some point Napolitano decided she should announce it right after O’s speech.

I read somewhere that Shep Smith was saying that O’s speech went short and they wanted to keep the republicans from being able to respond to the speech so they had DHS claim there was a credible terror threat.

Everything these people do is a publicity stunt. We have no way of knowing if ANYTHING they say is true. The falsifying of Obama’s birth certificate, the secret disposal of Bin Laden (followed by that same unit getting shot down in a helicopter), and the newly-revealed evidence tampering/obstruction of justice in the Fast and Furious case.... all of this is the behavior of people to whom nothing is sacred, least of all the rule of law and truth.
