“Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday sought to distance himself and other senior Justice Department officials from a botched operation to track guns smuggled to Mexican drug cartels, saying they were not involved,” Reuters reports.
Note the perpetuation of the “botched” meme by the “Authorized Journalists,” who inserted that characterization into a supposedly “straight news” story on their own.
"The notion that somehow or other that this thing reaches into the upper levels of the Justice Department is something that, at this point, I don't think is supported by the facts," Holder told reporters.
“At this point…”?
“I don’t think…”?
Could that brief compilation of weasel words have been crafted any more carefully for escape clauses? And the “reporters” on the ground and in his face didn’t think to challenge it?
Holder questioned whether the congressional probe, led by Republicans in the House of Representatives and Senate, was politically motivated...
Does anyone even know if murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Kel…uh…Terry was a Republican or Democrat? How about slain ICE agent Jaime Zapata? Does it matter what political sympathies the estimated scores of dead Mexicans may have had, if any?

I have actually wondered if the JUDGE wasn’t the main target in the Giffords shooting. He was a Conservative who was ruling against the liberals overwhelmingly. He had something big coming up. But he’s dead now.

If there was an operation to be "botched" it had to have been approved beforehand so that it could be "botched".
Who approved the original plan and what were the original plans if they were "botched"?

Yeah, that is HUGE! In my never to be humble opinion, we could lose the FBI without missing them a bit! The BATFags may have (and did) START all these things (Ruby Ridge, Waco, now Gunwalker and who knows WHAT else! Oh, yeah, all the offshoots, of which we know three or more, including GrenadeWalker) but the Feebs had their slimy fingers in each and every one of them. They are just as evil and corrupt as the vilest BATFag.
