Huntsman Warns That GOP Can't Win the White House by Denying Climate Science (BARF)
New York Times ^ | September 8, 2011 | EVAN LEHMANN

"When you make comments that fly in the face of 98 out of 100 climate scientists, to call into question the science of evolution, all I am saying is that in order for the Republican Party to win, we can't run from science," Huntsman said. "By making comments that basically don't reflect the reality of the situation, we turn people off."

Politico's John Harris, a debate moderator, pressed Texas Gov. Rick Perry to name the scientists that he refers to on the campaign trail as credibly refuting the international consensus that humans are contributing to global warming.

The Charlie Crist of Utah.

Is Huntsman the only "GOP" character Obama appointed? I thought Judd Gregg showed some good sense when he backed out of the Commerce Sec. job.

“I’m convinced that Huntsman is a Dem mole who is being funded by Soros and other libs to muck up the GOP primary.”

Exactly, he’s there to try to steer the narrative in a way to make the other candidates appear extreme.

He’s a tool.

Huntsman, Obama’s candidate, did his job for Barack and gives the NYT this ridiculous story.

Huntsman shouldn’t be allowed in any more GOP debates. Who is funding this clown? I have to assume it’s the far left. I would love to see his donor lists.

At first I didn’t think much about Huntsman and his campaign, thinking: “well, let him run, everyone can dream, can’t they?”

Now I think he’s some kind of sabateur or just a dumb@ss - I really dislike him now.

Yeah, Huntsman resembles too closely the east coast intelligentsia who think they must be smarter than the rest of the common folk in the hinterlands. I don’t want any part of him because he will listen to the wrong people.

Huntsman was recalled from China by Obama for the purpose of running in the primary as a spoiler. Huntsman’s job is to push the Republican party as hard as he can to the leftist/marxist position. Huntsman is the turd in the punch bowl, so to speak. Some one needs to take the “son of bitch” out, as Jimmy Hoffa Jr. so eloquently put it.

“Media warns GOP can’t win denying that aliens are planning to invade the Earth over global climate change.”

They are full of horse&hit and the above NEWS item (yes it has been circulated globally as a scare story) proves it.

Their RELIGION is not MY religion and I cannot be forced to tithe to Gaia.

On the issue of the EPA/"global warming" I am not convinced that Romney is better than Huntsman though. I don't trust either one.

The majority of Americans, per surveys, know man made global warming is bs. Huntsman can run on the votes of limo liberal hollywierd and wall street.

I like the way these people frame their comments and positions. First it was man made global warming. When that became a farce, it was climate change. No one can argue the climate is not changing. It always has and always will. The question is can man cause or prevent any change in a significant way? To avoid that now the whole movement is based on ‘man is contributing to global warming'. Well no s*** Shamus. You win. Man is contributing to global warming by what.....00000000001%. Ok, let's start regulating before we destroy the planet.

Bloomberg Republicans like Huntsman and Gingrich, will be forced to drop out soon. Their support is rapidly falling off. I don't understand how Huntsman even came up with the money to get as far as he did.

I have a dream...

One day all candidates will be asked tough questions.

Like:
What were your grades at Columbia?
What was your citizenship given on your Indonesian passport?
Are you now or have you ever been a communist?

People either think like Conservatves or they don’t. This guy doesn’t. Why is he trying to change our minds. Just join the other side. They agree with you. I prefer to follow fact.

Huntsman’s comment on glo-bull warming and evolution was all I needed to hear to determine I won’t vote for him.

I agree, and although Romney tries to have it both ways, he has a lot in common with Huntsman.

He might be for lower taxes, but his "we can't run from science" attitude would eventually lead to more "EPA gone wild" burdens on business.
