"When you make comments that fly in the face of 98 out of 100 climate scientists, to call into question the science of evolution, all I am saying is that in order for the Republican Party to win, we can't run from science," Huntsman said. "By making comments that basically don't reflect the reality of the situation, we turn people off."
Politico's John Harris, a debate moderator, pressed Texas Gov. Rick Perry to name the scientists that he refers to on the campaign trail as credibly refuting the international consensus that humans are contributing to global warming.

Then why did you post an article about Huntsman?
The Charlie Crist of Utah.
Bookmarked, thanks.
How in the heck did the good citizens of Utah get bamboozled into electing this warmist RINO?
How in the heck did the good citizens of Arizona get bamboozled into electing Janet Napolitano?
How in the heck did the good citizens of Texas get bamboozled into electing Ann Richards?
Politics can be weird.
Huntsman is ignorant of science.
Didn’t work too well for McCain in 2008...
Perry has been fighting fires. The others have been sitting down with Diet Cokes reviewing notes.
He’s very busy right now, they aren’t.
He is irrelevant, when asked a question everytime he breaks out in a song and dance and thanks everyone and his mother for something, he makes my stomach turn
I think he has it backwards. 30,000 signed a document that says they DON’T believe in it!. I there some document that 1.5 million scientists have signed?
By the way, the Global Warming Scam is now 23 years old!
I agree. The left trying to make GOP candidates look like yahoos, again. But sometimes it works because the public is not always wise.
I didn't write the title. It contained the part of debate I wanted to make a point about: Although I agree with Perry about "global warming," I thought his answer was weak,
very clintonian of huntsman.
“clamate science”?
as in rain water is wet?
or
Humans cause seasons.
Other than that, I could just say, Huntsman WHO?
Knock-knock...
Who’s there?
John.
John, who?
John Huntsman!
That’s the joke, folks.
Did you notice that the inquisitors failed to ask Huntsman and Romney for names of scientists who agreed with AGW dogma?
Now now,, yesterday I saw a poll somewhere that had him up to 2%..
The smart way to handle this issue, and Huntsman, is to stay away from the science and stick to attacking the draconian one world, economy crushing measures that are being put forward by the AGW crowd.
And point out that even if we pauperize our selves and toss away all our freedoms the AWG crowd themselves admit their “solutions” have almost no effect on the climate.
When they ask “Gottcha questions”, the best approach is to attack the question. Who gives a rat’s rear who the VP of Pakistan is - if I become President, he’ll know who I am!
I’ve read a number of books on global warming, but I’d be hard pressed to cite a name accurately in a debate. I MIGHT, if feeling generous, tell them I will email them a list of names if they will promise to give air time to those scientists.
Is there anyone "making book" on this?
Jon Huntsman can’t win any office by denying he’s a Democrat. Thanks dddfd.
