Former George W. Bush and Rick Perry adviser Karl Rove said that it was an "odd moment" when his critique of the current Texas governor was mentioned in last night's presidential debate, and that he was "surprised" when Perry said that he had been "over the top for a long time."
"Governor Perry is responsible for what he writes and says - what's he upset about?" Rove said on Fox News.

Levin said it best yesterday. Rove opposed Reagan in '80. He's trashed Bachmann, Palin, Perry, etc. The only competent conservative in his eyes was George W Bush. LOL.

Maybe we could start a letter writing campaign and convince Rove to get off TV and hit the streets in Houston. We need 20k signatures to bring in a ballot measure on E-Verify.It would be good to get him to help clean up the mess he and Bush made by ignoring the law and pallin around with LA RAZA.

Rove hadn’t gotten along with Perry for a long time.
Rove is a bastard.

Butt-Dumpling Rove has so epically failed that I’m surprised anyone cares what he says.
To: nhwingut
Of course he didnt support Reagan AT FIRST he was working for G H W BUSH.
Once Reagan got the nomination he supported Reagan because his boss was running for VP
Sometimes I wonder if people on FR understand how politics works ....
no one is a friend and no one is an enemy (including Rove)
and
everyone is a friend and everyone is an enemy.
It all depends on which way the wind is blowing
Dont be surprised if Perry HIRES Rove if he gets the nomination ...
This is not Jr High

Rove and smiling Dick Morris. What a pair. Maybe they’ll defect to Reverend Al’s show.

Rove gave us Obummer because of his awful advice to Dubya the last few years of Dubya’s run. He should just go away. And Hannity should stop driving the Rove bus...

I was not stalking Perry for my man Romney, un-hand me fools. I've got a FoxNews segment in 20 minutes where I act like an objective voice, sure, I have a dog in this race, but who cares, the fools will slurp it up.

F U Karl.
No conservatives are buying the excrement you are selling.
Let’s see you attack him the morning of his entree into the race in his first debate, you use inflammatory and provocative language and then wonder why he responds in a direct question in the debate about your dung.
“Karl has been over the top for quite awhile now”
lol

No sh!t Dick Tracy. That's the point. Bush Sr was the country club establishment RINO who was running around Texas telling everyone that Reagan was an unelectable cowboy, second coming of Goldwater - so elect me. And of course Rove agreed.

I will say this... Rove is a hypo-crypt, a phony and above all a "MASTER MANIPULATOR." That is what he did, using all the moral values issues, as a way of getting Bush elected the last time around, but the "bastard" (good name), never really believe in those values!
But now we all know and he is out of the closet, a "progresista" actually when it comes to those values. It would not surprised me if he was for the homesexualization of the Republican Party.

Reminder:
The Bush Machine, including Rove supported Kay Bailey Hutchinson's bid to unseat Rick Perry in the Republican Governor Primary.
The Bushes are east coast Yale elitist.
While Perry was a cheerleader yell-leader at Texas A&M.
