Senate upholds Lynch veto blocking RGGI repeal (EPIC NH Republican RINO infested Party FAIL)

CONCORD — The Senate failed to override Gov. John Lynch’s veto of an attempt to repeal the state’s Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.

The 15-9 vote was one vote short of the two-thirds majority needed to override the veto of Senate Bill 154. Senate President Peter Bragdon, R-Milford, sided with Lynch.

The Senate had attempted a reform of the program rather than outright repeal in June, but the House refused to compromise.

House leaders said they will be back with another repeal attempt next year. Speaker of the House William O’Brien called the RGGI cap-and-trade system an "income redistribution ploy."

RGGI is a system in which power companies must buy allowances for carbon-dioxide emissions at auction. The auction proceeds are distributed regionally for use in energy-efficiency programs. The cost to consumers is about 35 cents a month.

My expectations were the RINO major republicans in NH would at least pass legislation at the RATE the Demoncrats did in 2006-2009. Nope did not happen. As for Stiles, she is walking proof of what is wrong with the NH GOP. Disgusting wretch of a RINO.

Ayotte will make Judas Gregg look conservative when she finally gets going. Trust me on that one. The only thing Ayotte has going for her right now is Jean “abortion goddess” Shaheen as a comparison.

As for whining, not really, I have put lots of time and money into NH politics over the years, Have you? 15+ years, knocking on doors, cutting checks and orgainizing programs, etc... I am disgusted with the NH GOP. You call them strides, ha more like stumbles. Started with how they went after Craig Benson. I now spend my political money preparing to move my family and live outside the US. My former volunteer time for anything is now spent kicking the local school boards and assesors offices in the jimmy where I own property in NH. Reduced my taxes a bit in the last year.

I am done with the US of A and NH especially. All NH “Republicans” can piss off and for that matter so can most of the US of A, it ain’t worth fixing when you have to work with what is currently available so i am not even going to give the effort any more. In fact, this will probably be my last post on FR. Good luck, I won’t miss NH or the US at this point.

Coward I am not, usually those who throw that word around are projecting their inner being. I have served this Country and killed it’s declared enemies in defense of this Constitution, have you? How many fund raisers for NH GOP candidates in the last 12 years have you done? Me, 11. How many thousands of dollars have you spent on your GOP candidates and pacs? Me, past $60K in the last 7 years...

The facts are you are a key board warrior that accepts the Nancy Stiles RINO’s. How does that make you more conservative? You are probably from Massachusetts... you will never understand why you and your type of conservatives (turds in a punch bowl are you)are why leaving the @hithole formally known as NH is a brillant option for me and my family.
