Interesting observation... I am amazed his marketing team did not catch that.. or is someone on his team palinizing him?
Yes, Cain did very well.
Mitt needs to be quickly deeemd "persona no grata"
We know he is not what is needed.
And that is how we shuold proceed.
Who did'nt win us?
On the cutting block:
Mitt Romney
Sorry, I disagree. I don’t know which Debate Richard Viguerie watched, but, I watched the Debate two times. Perry did the worst of everyone on the stage.
That's good strategy for Perry, then. Flush out the idiot leftist attackers after one debate, then defend himself in the next couple of debates, e.g. support the Paul Ryan plan and cite successful partial-privatization examples such as the City of Galveston.
Voters aren't all retards, most non-socialists will get tired of the pet-food nonsense very soon. And SS would be solvent by now if GOPers of decades past hadn't been cowed into self-emasculation by the dreaded 'third rail' lamestream media analogy. Words, just words.
>> Perry did the worst of everyone on the stage.
Hardly.
Now cite the damn scientists whom back your claim!
He’s trying to reference how Perry signed legislation that allowed anyone who lives in Texas for three years to be eligible for in-state tuition rates.
For you see, that means it also applies to illegals. And somehow *PAYING* the in-state tuition rate = free college to anti-Perry bashers.
That’s about right. He’s now forced the left to make an issue of Social Security (otherwise they can’t try and tar him on it).
By doing so, he’ll have the media talking about what *HE* wants the debate to be on.
Ron Paul attacked fellow Republicans more than he attacked Obama last night.
That makes him scum in my eyes.
Perry did not win, and did not knock out Romney.
Therefore, the RINO lost.
Its funny, we all want a ballsy GOP but when they actually show balls then out come the knives saying it was politicially stupid to be ballsy. Go figure.”
In sheer political terms, Perry has the numbers here. More of the GOP primary votes know that how he criticizes SS is spot on. Romney, by distinguishing himself from Perry on this point, is making a general election point. But it’s not the general election yet. Perry won this exchange, and effectively won the nomination.
There will be a challenge in the general to cover this rhetoric. And that is good. Perry has now committed himself to coming up with a workable solution that average Americans can understand, and for that matter, that older Americans can understand. This is no small challenge. But he has drawn a line in the sand rhetorically, and now to win the general, he has to have a SS plan. That’s good politics, and it is even better for the longterm survival of the country.

I didn’t know that about him! Thanks
I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if PR Newswire posted his press release as a professional courtesy.

I hope you’re joking here. Otherwise you’ve crossed the Rubicon into insanity.
So someone else noticed, LOL.
She should have saved the fright wig for Halloween.

Someone experienced in political campaign materials should have spotted that, it opens the candidate to potential ridicule at a minimum. At worst, it reinforces a negative unintentionally.
20+ years in the newspaper and publishing business can do that to a guy! :)
Being in disagreement with your assessment that “Perry did the worst of everyone on the stage”, I proceeded to bust your chops by paraphrasing the snot who grilled Perry at Wednesday’s debate. The snotty mod insisted that Perry cite the scientists whom back up his claim that AGW is effectively a hoax.
Yes, for the nominative clause, “who” is the way to go, but I believe in the objective plural form “whom” is technically correct, and without the threat of pretense. For the objective singular, I think “who” sounds better. Happy to stand corrected on my FRenglish.
