Gov. Chris Christie has a name for people who visit Las Vegas in the summertime: "Stupid."
Speaking at a news conference to introduce the new head of a state agency tasked with revitalizing Atlantic City, the nation's second-largest gambling market, Christie couldn't resist taking a shot at No. 1.

Ironically, it seems that the cast of Jersey Shore is in Vegas more than New Jersey.

Christie shot himself in the foot if he is thinking about declaring for president. Is it too late?

Well it is a bazillion degrees there in the summer - and that’s in whatever shade you can find.

The average high temperature in LV on July 17th is 105. The average. Christie is the governor of a state that has a faded gambling mecca that would LOVE to have Vegas’ business during the summer. I can’t fault the fat man for this one. Just saying.

It seems to get pretty hot in New Jersey too during summer. Then there´s the *%#! humidity.

So conversely, it would be stupid to visit Atlantic City in the winter?

Hey you fat blabbermouth. How is Las Vegas any of your business? You blew it in your state with your nanny state declarations before the hurricane. You cost Atlantic City massive amounts of cash for their last big weekend of the year. You are not ready to be President and with your idiotic You Tube Governorship, I doubt you ever will be. Go away and worry about your own state.

Chris, first, I have two words...air conditioning
Second, I have two more words...free cocktails.
Third, when Jon Favreau (the real Jon Favreau, not the impostor writing speeches for Teh Awesome) wrote “Swingers”, he did not have Trent Walker say “Atlantic City, baby! Atlantic City!”

OK, I work in Las Vegas, grew up in NJ. For a 300 pound man, it’s going to be uncomfortable anywhere in the US except the Pacific coast in the summer.
As for LV, I walk to lunch for a mile, during the summer for exercise. As long as you stay inside from then until sunset, you’re fine. Summer mornings are nice.
Come December, beautiful long Tequilla sunsets in LV. In NJ, snow hurricanes.

Wouldn’t you take this guy in a heartbeat over Obama though? I’m not saying he’s my first choice, but my antenna are up over these articles. Seems like we’re seeing articles with a negative slant about Perry, Palin, Rubio, Bachmann, Christie, etc., etc. every single day and the goal seems to be setting those of us who actually love this country (unlike Obama) and who actually pay taxes against one another. Just saying. How many negative articles has the AP run about the idiot Biden or about Nevada’s Harry Reid?
