All it takes is knowing someone with cervical cancer then finding out that HPV could be prevented with a shot, then one might take a different look at it.
My knee jerk reaction when moving to TX in 2007 was similar to those seen on this thread but the more I find out about what really happened and not just the sound byte or head line, then I can understand what happened.

A much better plan is to tell 12 to 14 year old girls not to share intimate body parts with anyone that they would not share a toothbrush with.
I’m a cervical cancer survivor. I don’t want ANY government agent telling me what I must or must not do when it comes to my health. PERIOD. I don’t care how “wonderful” they think a vaccination is - medical care decisions belong between a doctor and a patient and should NOT involve the government in any way, shape, or form.
