Uh-oh... Be careful what you wish for...

During the Hayman fire in CO the Feds’ interference did more to keep the fire burning due to their idiotic regulations (not allowing dozers to put in firebreaks, refusing to let people tend to their own structures at their own risk, etc...).

I’ll be praying EXTRA hard now for those in Texas dealing with these fires as dealing with the fire AND the bureaucratic BS is most likely going to compound this nightmare.

Uhuh.   And the Federal employee who started that fire in the first place, with her "love letter", says she's really sorry... and that folks should just get on with their [burned up] lives.

 

 

Terry Barton may want people affected by the Hayman fire to "get on with their lives," but it's hard when all some see is
a sea of black stumps out their front door. Or if their dreams of retiring in the mountains went up in smoke almost six years ago.
Or if they lost their home, with a lifetime of memories inside.
