We'll see what happens after her announcement, and how she fares during the real primary. Personally, I believe she's going to dominate the contest, and I don't say that out of simple devotion and belief in my candidate. I've seen enough to cause me to conclude that she can't be beat by anyone currently running.

What makes you think that? I have heard this from some rabid Palin supporters in a few of their lucid moments. You can ignore all the polls, be paranoid that they are all rigged but I heard all this before. 2008, right up to election day. Search the archive here, HillBuzz(Log Cabin Pubbie) even coined a phrase "Eeyore Republicans", a person who believed the polls. Well some of the polls hit it right on the head, McCain and Palin got their heads handed to them. I could be wrong and the PalinBots could be right, in my case would be a win\win, because I happen to like Sarah Palin very much. But if I am right and more than likely I am, if Sarah Palin is not standing at the podium next Summer giving her nomination speech, will some of you admit to being wrong or will this place be poisoned by conspiracy talk and sour grapes?

UNLIKE YOU... we read and listen to her speeches and writings and she is the only one that has real plans... real solutions and as it was with the hoffa death threats... she was the first to hit back harder than hoffa hit... but she did it without any threats. Those that actually pay attention to the substance of all of these candidates can see the glaring difference. We have the real deal... your team has to rationalize and “explain” Perry's governance and twist reality into what you want him to be. We are not buying it... and nothing that you people say or do will change our minds... if Palin runs... then we will be there for her in every way needed... if she doesn't... all of your side's attacks and slandering will certainly play into where we go and who we vote for. Keep it up and you will see what I say come to fruition.

I didn't need a poll to see which way the wind was blowing in 2008. From the moment our side chose Elmer Fudd McCain to face off against the young and charismatic Ooooh Ooooh Obama, I knew it was curtains for our side, and said so at the time.

Without Palin on the ticket, it would have been an historic landslide in the Democrats' favor.

And tell me that you weren't surprised that the polls favored Obama anyway? Surely, that came as no surprise to you, on the heels of eight years of non-stop Bush bashing by the radicalized media. Perhaps you also failed to notice how unashamedly in the tank for Obama they all were.

if Sarah Palin is not standing at the podium next Summer giving her nomination speech, will some of you admit to being wrong or will this place be poisoned by conspiracy talk and sour grapes?

People are going to react to the outcome of the primary, no matter who wins. If Sarah Palin walks away with it (as I believe she will), some Perry supporters are going to be so perturbed that they'll raise the roof about it. Same thing will happen if Perry is the last one standing.

It might just be best to take a break from the forum right after the nomination vote and let the wailing and gnashing of teeth go by you.
