In her first two terms in Congress, Bachmann’s office burned through four chiefs of staff and five press secretaries. An additional chief of staff, who was never listed in public accountings or records, was hired but departed in a matter of days.
Have a feeling that sooner or later we will hear whether Rollins wanted out or was pushed out.
I tend to agree with Michelle Malkin on this one. Wise move by Bachmann.

I’m not going to pretend that I know who made the move. Could have been Bachmann, could have been Rollins.
Uusually, this much turnover in the chief of staff gig is not a good sign.
Generally, it means that the officeholder is a real pain in the neck to work for.
Sorry, that is my experience.
I don't know anyone who would disagree with that. In addition, I have heard that she is actually on her eighth chief of staff if you count a couple of acting COS. In five years that might be a record.

Mr. Ed & anyone else departing did their duty for the Republican Establishment... put things in check while their Little Ricky from Texas tossed his hat in the game. Now they can go home.... and work for Ricky “behind the scenes” some more.
It's an exceptionally witty title - writer has probably been waiting many months to work that in.
I love Michelle Bachmann, and would have voted for her - but I just get the impression she is just about over her head.
Probably better suited to be a key member of Sarah Palin's cabinet.
Those headaches have really been killers.
She should never have teamed up with Rollins in the first place.

Perhaps even the MSM bottom-O’the-SAT-Barrel writers can occasionally be clever......
Guys like Ed Rollins feel they are bigger than the candidate or the campaign.
They may have some insight and ideas, but those will always be outweighed by their own ego and loyalty to themselves.
