Taxes for roads and bridges have already been paid and collected and misappropriated.
Some states spent the funds for other things.
Mostly around here they spend the spring and summer patching up the wear and tear on the roads from a bad winter.
This year they haven’t done squat. They patched the very worst of the holes and left the rest, Nothing has been resurfaced, nothing has been done about the big cracks that will expand when they freeze and thaw.
