DETROIT (AP) -- President Barack Obama said Monday that congressional Republicans must put their country ahead of their party and vote to create new jobs as he used a boisterous Labor Day rally to aim a partisan barb at the GOP.
In a preview of the jobs speech he will deliver on Thursday to Congress, Obama said there are numerous roads and bridges that need rebuilding in the U.S., and over 1 million unemployed construction workers who are available to build them.

If Obama and the “Democrat” Party with it’s Reids and it’s Pelosi’s, it’s Sharptons, and it’s Franks would get the heck out of the private sector, do away with the EPA and all it’s costly and unnecessary regulations, business and jobs would thrive. And they know it!

This guy is dumber than a box of rocks. You can't just vote in new jobs (unless, of course, the recent debt ceiling increase money is used for government make-work jobs that can be unionized).
It's part of the set-up for his new plan.
Spending more money tossing it at jobs, that will only last until the money runs out.

I back America first and always have. That in no way obligates me to back Obama, and it in fact obliges me to oppose everything that Obama has proposed or enacted during his occupancy of our White House. I would be thrilled to hear something pro-America come from the Obama Regime, but I’ve lost what little hope I had for that miracle.
There is not going to be any recovery of jobs until Obama leaves office, and even then, it will be YEARS.
