Sharia is a legal system with brutal physical injury and death as the only available punishments for not obeying the make-it-up-as-you-go-along “religious” component as created and applied without uniformity by any local Moslem senior cleric (Mullah) with little commonality except the most vicious, sadistic and misogynist punishments. Also NYC Mayor Bloomberg has become an ardent Islamist - reflected in the New York Times - since he and his organizations have invested HEAVILY in the Middle East and have fortunes to lose if Arab nations take offense at him and his city in the name of Islam. Bloomberg has also supported approval of providing funds (millions) from local government for the building of the mosque at Ground Zero! With Islamist Dhimmis like him and Moslems like Oba-Hussein in charge, we are being destroyed from within. AND from outside. They need to go!

This will lead to legalizing polygamy, beating wives, divorce without legal obligations, sex with boys and domesticated animals, killing of homosexuals, halal food in public schools and universities, new holidays and blameless honor killings.
Now that the left has gotten homosexual marriage rolling along, polygamy is the next agenda. Hollywood is already trivializing it.
I see it as a crusade for the U. S. Constitution. BTW, nice touch by the NYT to use the term "crusade" to whip their acolytes into a more intense frenzy. If only they could have worked "Tea Party" into the piece. Maybe they did, who knows?

The New York Times is 'tolerant' of any group that hates white middle class Christian Americans. Many Americans do not know that in traditional tribal society, the loss of the right hand for theft amounted to a death sentence. Most desert tribal groups would eat from a communal pot or tray. The right hand was used for eating, the left hand was used for bathroom functions. No right hand, starvation, death. Only if someone in the tribe cared enough for the thief to give them food separately could they survive.
