Blah blah blah. Never gonna happen. We need a non political security wall just like the Israeli's have on the west bank. Walls aren't Democrat or Republican, they just work 7x24 an extreme force multiplier. Every other "solution" is BS.

Cal, Az, Nm and Tx better start securing the border, screw FedGov™. These so called ranchers who have to feed prickly pear cactus to their cows better get a clue. The will be compensated for the needed land to build a wall.

If a law is not enforced, I don't bother obeying it. I jut assume it is not the law. That is how illegal aliens view the immigration laws. They are not enforced. That's why we have millions of them living here care free.

Notice how the Israeli fence is see through so you can see them coming. Plus piles and piles of coiled razor wire to slow down trespassers until the Israeli military can respond to the intrusion

I live in the country. I driver everywhere and there are no ‘crosswalks’ where I live.

An Israeli style fence fence fence will work great along most of the Texas-Mexico border. Yes we realize you Texas dudes are real special with a river constituting 95% of that border. But a fence (not a wall) is feasible along most of that Tex-Mex border and will stop just about all Mexican trespassers. Of course all fences have to be backed up by armed response by the Border Patrol and National Guard
Same as Obama's worthless arse is protected not just by a high wrought iron fence around the White House but by the Secret Service

Most conservatives just aren’t that interested in the issue of immigration. I don’t see this hurting Perry. It certainly hasn’t in Texas.
However, I will say... it gets a little bit tiring to hear what should be done along that border by people who have never been to the border, have no clue what it's like (terrain wise), many of the people who own the land don't want it, and the people studying the problem for years are smarter and know more than a bunch of FReepers!...Rick Perry being just one of them!
