Yeah they keep saying he’s the smartest precedent ever yet no one can post his academic record or IQ for that matter....

More idiots voted for his celebrity style publicity than a record that was nonexistent.

...voters have to try an get a candidate that supports more than 80% of their parties agendas or drop em from consideration IMO.

Waiting for 60% from any conservative at the very least....

Hope yer well....stay safe.

Contribute to the United Perry Campaign Fund...because a mind is a terrible thing to have in a politician.

Has Perry been blamed for A&M leaving the Big12 for the SEC?

The puerile Rice band is but a copy of its predecessor, the juvenile Stanford band. It is questionable whether anyone who belonged to either band has ever grown up.

The whining from the ivory towers is irrelevant. It is just that whining.

In spite of the fact there are several large populated cities, Texas is an agricultural, make that great agricultural, state. Texas has cotton fields that exceed the size of some states. The city population has a rural flavor even though they are decidedly citified.

Rick Perry Went to Texas A&M, An Aggie, A farmer? no a rancher.

There are tremendous areas where cattle are raised. There is a ranch in Texas bigger than Rhode Island or Delaware. These are people of the land who produce incomprehensible quantities of stuff to eat and fibers to wear. They do what they do by using the leading edge technology applied by Texas A&M. They are the best in the world at what they do and are far, very far from being bumpkins. Rick Perry is evolved from these roots.

For those Ivy League wannabe’s cloistered in their ivory towers the real Texas is forgotten. Piss on ‘em

I happen to know for certain that one long-time frequent Freeper was a member of the Stanford Bang decades ago.

People do grow up.

This is little more than Leno: seeking laughs based on what’s in the headlines,

Back in the 70’s I had a guy on my crew that was basically a genius when it came to numbers. He was retired military and had never done anything except work with numbers his entire life. Anything not involving numbers and he was barely above idiot.

When he first started on my crew, he couldn't figure out how to use a pipe wrench to save his life.

Your comment made me think of a joke I know.

Q: What's wrong with political jokes?
A: Too often they end up getting elected.

I personally don’t have a problem with the fact that Perry attended A&M. I prefer that to an Ivy League pedigree. I do have some reservations about him only managing a 2.0 GPA there. We need people in office literate enough to see through the Ivory Tower smokescreens on things like the economy, monetary policy, and trade, and sharp enough to defend them in concrete terms rather than platitudes, as well as make the case to the public.

We need A&M’s best and brightest, not its’ pre-Vet washouts. This is just one of many openings the MSM can use to take the focus off of Obama’s record and make the election about Perry’s record (and tangentially GWB’s) instead.

I don't...he was very involved in extra-curricular activities and was much more well-rounded than a book-worm. He was in the corps...and could pronounce it correctly!

I can identify with it...I studied for A's and played for C's...and preferred a good time to an A.

Pderry was smart enough to learn to fly jets.

I'd guess your reading comprehension isn't much better than your candidate's if you somehow got that out of my post.
