Florida A&M's Shannon Washington dies

Florida A&M basketball player Shannon Washington died early Sunday morning after suffering a knife wound to her neck, the school announced.

Tallahassee Police responded to a report of a stabbing and found Washington in an apartment. She was treated at the scene by police and EMS and later died at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, police said.

Starquineshia Palmer, 20, who was visiting Washington for the weekend, was detained and charged with first-degree murder, police reported.

This happened a few years ago in Richmond CA when a high school star athlete was killed by his best friend a week before leaving for college.

Envy and jealousy was the motive.

You need to get out more. The theory, at least in my case, is mainly based on the fact that it is extremely unusual for women to commit murder by knifing someone in the throat. Police, unlike you, know that homosexual murder normally involves a level violence that is personal and extreme.

It could be, of course, that the victim was killed because she borrowed her murderess’s basketball and failed to return it....or it could be drug related. We shall see - although I am sure that elements of the press and the university would like this story to be buried.
