Back in the late 60's the lower Canal Street area was the place to be at lunch time.

It was almost as if there was a competition among the stenos as to who could wear the shortest mini-skirts.

Never lived in the Big Easy but I knew where to be around noon.

Lived there for 5 years back in the 70’s. The business hangout in that area of the CBD was the Monkey Bar.
