Now, Windflier, for Pete's sake, get your politicians straight. If it had been Palin who had said she wasn't going to run for President and then four months later jumped in the race, it would have represented a broken promise. But it was Perry, so we know that it was just a simple change in plans!

All the more poignant, as today I read a couple of posts from a Perry supporter knocking Palin that Palin couldn't be trusted because she didn't finish doing what she said she was going to do -- be governer of Alaska. His guy Perry, on the other hand -- well, see, that's different! *rolls eyes*

Well, we know that there are standards that only Palin MUST meet (to be determined at her detractors' convenience), and then there are those standards that every other candidate either keeps to, or doesn't - no biggie.

First, get over it. He lied to the people of Texas about running for president and no amount of spin is going to diminish that fact. She has never said she won’t to this point.

Secondly, one thing Windflier did not point out about her time in office as Governor is that she delivered on every one of her campaign promises before she resigned, period. Shall we now have to compare that to the promises made, promises kept for Perry?
