In what could be a way of lowering expectations for next Thursday's big economic speech, aides to President Obama are privately spreading word that he will not present his entire jobs plan in his address to a Joint Session of Congress.
Aides say Thursday's speech will be part of a bigger plan the White House will roll out throughout the fall with the president hitting the road for speeches and town hall appearances. Aides have already confirmed that Obama will be traveling to California, Colorado, and Washington state for one three-day swing later this month that will include economic events as well as some fundraising.
The move could be a way to try and lower the stakes for Thursday's Joint Session appearance, but it could also be an attempt by the administration to show the president is trying to stay all over the economy heading into what will likely be an uphill re-election battle.

You know, I long for the days when he was just announcing his NCAA brackets. At least he wasn’t doing that much damage to the country. So, Barry, who do you like in the Packers-Saints game?
40 minutes of "Throw more of everyone elses money at it." (That's all the democrats ever do. They don't know how to do anything else.)
(Starve the beast)
That will barely give him enough time to whine about how this isn't his fault, that he inherited this economy, that nobody cooperates with him, that Congress isn't doing its job, lie about how many jobs he's "saved," mention green jobs, maybe sink another couple of companies by highlighting them, and dive into how if we didn't have this pesky Republic and annoying Constitution, he could get things done faster and better. Who has time to go into any depth on a jobs program?
WHITE HOUSE TO REVEAL JOBS PLAN AFTER ELECTION!
"IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT IT IS, YOU HAVE TO RE-ELECT ME!!"
O’s kind of like a wife. haha, Guess I can say that as I am . . . a wife :-).
We should probably be grateful. Imagine what kind of damage he could do if he was even half way competent.
So, instead, we get the Carnival Barker Obama wasting everybody’s time by giving a pep talk to his constituents and party members as congress sits there doing nothing.
Exactly. The left bragged about him collecting at least a billion dollars in campaign contributions this time - "setting a new national record".
I don't think anyone is donating. So, like a typical democrat, he's freeloading off the working class.
This would be a joke and I would be laughing at him if this situation wasn’t so sad. So he’ll roll out parts of his plan while he’s campaigning. In 2008 he campaigned against Bush and the terrible economy, does this mean that he’ll be campaigning against himself and his terrible economy. I am not even 1 bit interested in anything he has to say. He’s over and it’s just a shame that it will be 17 months until we have a new President.
Ouch! Bachmann nailed him!
This administration is a cluster-blank.
Really? MORE speeches ? I am “completely” surprised !
None of this matters anyway. The business community does not trust him and will not invest in business expansion until he is gone. Consequently, the economy will be in the dumps until he is gone. I wish he would just stay on vacation for the next 17 months. At least then, he would not make things worse.
And he planned on playing dictator, too. He was going to go around congress and have his Czars spend the money on these things without congressional approval. HE decided the right to representation was too much of a burden.
(He may still ignore the separation of powers and try to pull it off anyway.)
Starve the Beast.
If you own stocks you might consider selling some. Every time this empty-suit idiot opens his mouth stocks tumble.
Everyones 401K goes bust.
They know the 1st one will be a giant bomb. so they are getting out in front telling the peons they will be having more lies later. Para. ofcourse:-)
