Although Palin will take part in the debate in the Sept. 12 debate in Tampa, Fla., she still has yet to confirm that she is looking to become a presidential hopeful. However, the 2008 vice presidential candidate seems to be dropping hints via her Twitter page.
"America is waiting for the president to make good on this promise," Palin recently posted on Twitter. "I'll be talking about this and more."
Although Palin will join Rep. Michele Bachmann, former Massachusetts Gov. Romney, Texas Rep. Ron Paul, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, businessman Herman Cain, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman on Sept. 12, some say she is only confusing her supporters.
Erick Erickson, said Palin is misleading her constituents.
"We are coming to the end of the line for Sarah Palin's ability to string the Republican primary voters along," Erickson wrote. "They are trying to settle on a candidate now, they've held out hope of her entry and

Rumors, innuendo, and dirty tricks from
the Romneys and the Perrys (through the Sullivans
and others with connections to the MSM).
Where? Twitter? Her Facebook page? Where and when did she say this?; the article does not give any links. But they do quote a McCain campaign staffer and this Eric cat. Hmmmmmmm. (PDS-ers in 4....3...2......) :^ )
Do we have a link from Sarah Palin announcing she will participate? Because if not, this could be a leaked story that she will, only to be countered later that she won’t, and then people will say “See, she keeps jerking people around!”
What is the point of this fiasco?
To hold alternate debates?
To divide the potential voters?
Just freekin announce or STFU
GO SARAH, GO!!!
Lets put the Traitors and RINO's in the place!
I.E. Back to Running the Snoopy Rides and Worlds of Fun, and let The Mama Grizzles run things from now on!
Conspiracies, rumors, whatever no longer matter.
Palin could immediately end all this talk by simply saying whether she is running or not running.
The ball is in her court, and she’s not shooting.
Quit dribbling, Sarah...shoot the darn ball.
I am excited!
I trust rintense. Of course she still has to date me, but I still trust her, in anticipation of that date.
“Erickson wrote. They are trying to settle on a candidate now”
THEY are not trying to settle on a candidate as long as there are all those names in the mix. What THEY are trying to do is make sure the Democrat’s pick (Mitt) is not the winner.
Milt: "See you in twelve years, partner
when I will STILL be running for President."
If the point is to put the widest variety of ideas on the table and hash out which are the best ones, I’m all for it. The more voices, the better - this country needs a good brainstorming session and it’s not going to come from the scions of Columbia, Harvard and Yale (who got us into this mess, just like they got us into the Great Depression).
disclaimer: not a Palin supporter and see no need for her to be in the race as a candidate
I note Rick Perry’s name was not mentioned among the heavy weights listed in the article.
How in the hell can she be part of a debate without being a candidate? Am I missing something here? Or, is the plan that she would have announced by that date?
The dog and pony show of Palin grabbing and gasping for limelight without being a candidate is really getting tiring.
Even if we grant your assumptions that A) Crow was a Perry supporter and B) he was trying to mess Palin up (neither of which is proven to my knowledge), what does that have to do with Perry himself? If we are going to judge the candidates by what their supporters do, then I could never support Sarah even if she got the nomination, simply due to the behavior of her supporters here on FR.
I love Sarah, but you are correct.
This crap is getting OLD.
I got nothing on this onyx....premature article maybe.
Erickson needs to shut up and go pound sand with his RINO buddies. The election is in November 2012 and NOT November 2011.
I absolutely vote on the supporters of a candidate, not the candidate itself. The candidate is completely unimportant in any given race. The important consideration is who supports them.
