I’m not a Perry supporter. But I don’t mind those who are. It’s early yet.
Being a Miami Dolphins fan, I am Chad Henne supporter (because he happens to be the best we have right now) until a better QB comes along. Chad Henne will then get thrown under the bus.
If the Kyle Orton trade had gone through, Henne would already be under the bus.
There are lots of weaknesses in Perry, but, so far, he is the strongest conservative candidate we have against Obama.
If a better conservative THAT CAN ACTUALLY DEFEAT Obama shows up, I will support that candidate over Perry.
Deadline reality being what is, however, I do not see any other such candidates showing up for the fight.
Reality is often not exciting and is never flawless but perfect fantasies about Dan Marino showing up as QB some day do not win you the ball game.
