I was so hoping this would head for us so we’d get a good soaking. Looks like Louisiana is now the target and “if” we’re lucky we may get some squalls out of this.
Tropical depressions will be fine. :) We need several days of some good ground soaking rain all across the state.
How about a Cat 1?
I certainly wouldn’t turn down a Cat 1, but the trees are weak and dying from no rain and the winds would probably blow them all over the place. A trip to Academy for some football gear to wear as protection would probably be in order if we’re faced with a hurricane anytime soon.
p.s. I surely do miss another dear Louisianan this hurricane season: 1-COUNTER-MORTER-68. RIP, FRiend.

Hopefully this just remains as a rain event and moves a little more north — we need rain badly here in Central Alabama and a nice 5 inch Lee drenching would be very welcome.
OY! Here we go again!

Tropical Storm Lee’s biggest threat is flooding, Gov. Bobby Jindal warns
Admittedly have been paying little attention. I guess no rain for Houston?
Check the precip. loop at the top of the thread. Houston area may yet get rain out of this system.
