I also have a stupid question. If he has the solution why did he wait until now to mention it?

It'll be as bad as Obama can make it so vox populi cry out for his new "Plan," by which he'll fix everything spending all our money.

"No incumbent president ever in our nation's history has been re-elected with the unemployment rate over 8 percent."

Don't be as ignorant as Leslie.

FDR was re-elected with 25% unemployment.

Does this mean that we won't have "Unexpected Thursday" with initial unemployment claims "unexpectedly high" any more?

I'm not sure if my body will take the withdrawal. Though my liquor budget will come down somewhat.

Expect high unemployment because the Kenyan and the Rat party are unwilling and unable to doe anything about it.

You think? I don’t know.....I think he’s all pissy because Boehner upset his apple cart. He’s not one to keep his indignation to himself or miss an opportunity to point his finger of blame at the right. I think he’ll give the speech and it will be full of pointed jabs that he is a bipartisan martyr constantly persecuted by the partisan GOP. Then he will go on to announce his tax hike disguised as a tax cut.

In a poker gamer, if all the players leave the table there is nothing the dealer(s) can do to make the game continue.

Just sayin’

So its Bush’s fault for a full 9 years...and if re-elected, he will be able to invoke the errors of Bush for an entire second term?

It's like being elected to an 8 year vacation. It's like those liberals who don't keep score at a ball game. It reminds me of a line in Ghost Busters "I've worked in the private sector. You don't know what it's like. They expect results!"

First, the economy and unemployment are not poker nor are they any other kind of game.

Second, if the players and self anointed dealers would leave the table, the situation would heas its self in the absence of their interference and manipulation.
