Having been appropriately critical of past moves, waffling and general weakness on the part of the GOP in general and Boehner in particular I am obligated to weigh in on this with my equally forceful support.

Finally, the GOP grows a pair. Now, do not fold on this to criticisms of playing childish politics. Say what you have to say, stand your ground, hold to principals and move on with your own agenda.

Barry The Imposter thinks he can get everything to turn on his every word.

Hundreds of people are involved in puytting on such a debate. We see a few people in front of the cameras, but the people working behind the scenes are just as important.

Airline tickets—hotel reservations—car rentals—contracting all the lighting/sound engineers & other people to make this debate happen takes time. That is why is was scheduled for a year-—no matter who was in or out of the race for Republican nominee for President.

Barry The Imposter only has to ride in his huge motorcade about 1 mile to Congress—something he can do with about 30 minutes of preparations.

The audience & the network coverage should also be considered in demanding PRIME TIME.

For once, the Republicans stood up to him. Kudos to all of them.

Barry The Imposter & his ‘advisors’ need to go back & get graduated out of the 4th grade & into the 5th grade. They are beyond acting like spoiled brats in Hollywood.

The Axis of the world isn’t thru the vertical line of Barry The Imposter.

For those of us who don’t have pay TV, Buried Treasure on Fox with the Keno Brothers of Antiques Roadshow fame is delightful.

Well done. There’s DeMint, and then there’s everybody else.

“Why doesn’t he just give the speech from the WH?”

Then he wouldn’t get a chance to lecture those whom he wants us to hold responsible for his disastrous economy.

(On the off chance that that wasn’t just a rhetorical question. :-) )

“Why does it have to be an address to the joint session of Congress anyway? Why doesn’t he just give the speech from the WH?”

Because Obama doesn’t have any economic/employment solutions. His sole purpose for giving this speech is to shift the blame for the economy onto the Congress, especially now since for the past 6 months Republicans have held the House. He wants to betray himself as blameless, but tough!

Does anyone think that the MSM or the Dems will point out that the Dems have fully controlled the Congress from 2007 through 2011? ....and still control the Senate? I don’t either.

Obama’s speech is nothing more than a campaign speech given before the nation and congress. Pure political poppycock.

We’ll see if America is dumb enough to fall for it.

Well, sadly there are a lot more suckers in this country than a rational person would want to believe there are. OTOH, I don't think this one is going to be a PR success for His Majesty and his sycophants in the press.
