Ah, the Swamp Queen is doing what she does best: Throwing the weight of government around to intimidate private businesses and shake em down.
The Congressional Black Caucus is trying to help by organizing job fairs across the country. Congresswoman Maxine Waters also wants to help by putting more pressure on the big banks to help with mortgages.
If they dont come up with loan modifications and keep people in their homes that theyve worked so hard for, were going to tax them out of business, said Waters.

“Congresswoman Maxine Waters also wants to help by putting more pressure on the big banks to help with mortgages. “
In other words, keep doing the same thing that lead to the subprime mortgage collapse, only FASTER!

This should send a lot of money into any challenger’s coffers (Dem challengers included). How much has Maxine lent to her hard-working constituents?

I only wish our side had a Maxine type.

This woman is an idiot.
How’s about we do this: Lets go back to 1965 and the way we did mortgages back there. 20% down. Spotless credit. 10 years at your job. And stick to the ratios.
We won’t have no problems payin’ da mortgages then.
The CRA was the worst law ever passed in the history of this country. Even worse than prohibition.
Having a home is not a “right.”

She's more worried about the foreclosures of those who DIDN'T work at all that got a house than those that did. Why else pressure the entire banking industry to lower their approval standards and even have such an instrument as Sub Prime Mortgages to begin with? Is she afraid the parasites will not vote for her this time around since they thrown out of houses most NEVER MADE A PAYMENT ON? Good grief.

The woman needs to grow up. What’s she got against banks? If we let these people, they will wreck our economy and our country. Believe it.

No way that’s ever going to happen. Maxine’s district is comprised entirely of career-welfare recipients. The people in her district think and act just like her, which is why she keeps getting re-elected. (The Left Coast version of Dead Ted Kennedy.)
