JOHANNESBURG (AP) -- South Africa's minister of land reform says black farmers have resold nearly 30 percent of the white farmland bought for them by the government - often back to the previous white owners.
Minister Gugile Nkwinti announced the startling indicator of failure at Wednesday's launch of a long-delayed government policy paper to revitalize plans to more equitably distribute agricultural land, redressing historical wrongs.

The days of the family farmer squeaking out an existance off the land are long gone, it doesn’t matter what color you are.
Who in his right mind would want to get on that merry-go-round?
Was this land even farm land when the whites settled the region?

You obviously haven’t kept up with what has been going down there. White farmers were run off the farms, the farms under black ownership failed to produce crops, blacks want whites back to make food. Screw them.
..probably failed because the machinery broke down and crops could not be grown.......because all the crop seeds were eaten.

Mugabe's thugs stole the farm land from the Rhodesian farmers because it was valuable.
The thugs then ran the farms(along with the whole country, BTW) into the ground so badly that these farms have become worthless.
Now they are selling the Farms back to the same Rhodesian farmers they stole the farms from the in the first place so the country, and the rest of the region, does not starve.
Hope and change comes to Zimbabwe after Mugabe's wealth redistribution destroyed every ones wealth and has made all equal in misery.

Were there blacks living in what is now known as South Africa when the whites arrived. I have seen some reports that the blacks came south at the same time as the whites came on shore. Very politically incorrect, but .....
All they ever wanted was money. They didn’t want to work any farms. They just wanted a payout. The gov’t hasn’t any real money to give them, but the white landowners do.
Starving socialist people steal the land from the workers that make the food and farms work, the socialists go bankrupt and starve after they manage the farms, the farmers buy it back and the cycle starts over. Who’d thunk it?
What’s going to stop the blacks from marauding and stealing the land again once the white farmers turn the farms back around?

I was told by a South African that the black Africans who were the darlings of the anti-Apartheid lamestream misleadia had never lived in that region before the whites had transformed it into an actual modern nation.
They came south looking for work, which was not available in countries run by black Africans, and through decades of whining and terrorism managed to take over, with Kamarad Nelson “Little Stalin” Mandela at their head, and turned a fine country into a disaster.
Now they’re trying to escape the consequences of their own evil with a little cash in hand.
As soon as the whites build it up again, the world’s leftards will turn it over to the blacks again.
