IIRC, the Zulus were moving south about the same time the Boers moved north (to escape the British). The local aboriginal population didn’t stand a chance, although on balance it was better to be conquered by the Boers.
No. The native South Africans were the San People, aka Bushmen/Hottentots. Many of them were killed off by blacks migrating from the north and whites settling the south and moving further inland. The San are more brown and I think shorter in statue.
The whites were in what is now SA before the blacks, but not before the San.
