Watching them plot out this attack strategy every-day on MSNBC it dawned on me once again (as I used to point out last year) that Republicans should respond by repeating over and over how Democrats beating the drum for more stimulus and how bad unemployment is should be a reminder how Democrats have failed.

In spite of Pelosi losing the House. Republicans need Obama to own this economy failure , Bush is not POTUS nor is McCain, it's Obama. Obama wants you to think Boehner is now 'unemployer and chief', not him.

And use Democrats words against them:”More of the same(that failed)?”

Make their calls for another stimulus be a reminder how the stimulus failed big time,

The stimulus bill is written and sitting in the transportation committee of the Senate. - S.942.

The bill was presented and read into the record by Patty Murray, who wrote it to fund a Gateway project in her home state for SSA, the company that employs her husband. It mainly benefits Goldman Sachs and Warren Buffet’s BNSF, but Peabody coal is also a major player and that is why Richard Trumpka is so involved. Trumpka is the former head of the United Mine Workers.

The Obama anti-coal regulations hurt most Eastern coal companies, but help the PRB coal from the western coal regions. Many of the regulations which put the Eastern coal fields out of business, are designed to force power companies to update the coal burning plants to use the sub-bituminous coal instead.

Spend more money on roads, bridges, etc,:

- all of which will require years of front end design and engineering,
- then years of permitting and approvals,
- then months of competitive bidding and sub-contracting,
- steel purchased from China, Korea or Japan,
- and finally, maybe, actual construction by illegal immigrants and their SEIU supervisors.

In the meantime, here's your extended unemployment check and some Govt healthcare. Vote for me or you're a racist and can go straight to Hell.

Exactly what was the reason for this speech today? Was it announced? I didn’t hear the repeated message...”We are waiting for the president...” I didn’t know he was going to give another speech. Not that I would have watched. But, why was he on TV AGAIN???

Republicans should answer:

"We agree with the president on the need to preserve jobs for Americans, but to insure that those jobs go to American citizens, we will introduce legislation to require that any worker hired through this funding is verified as legally eligible to work in the USA through the eVerify program. To further protect American workers, we will also require all labor unions to verify their membership lists through eVerify and put in place penalties for unions who maintain illegal aliens on their membership rolls. These are common sense steps designed to insure that federal tax monies are used to employ Americans who have been hard hit by the recent economic downturn, rather than see tax dollars support those who have violated our laws by entering our country illegally."

If you can’t steamroll or demagogue tax increases, try to steamroll more spending instead. Lather, rinse, repeat. Republicans need to fire at him with both barrels on regulation and challenge him over whether he knows better than the private sector on aviation and transportation. This is the asshole who’s making it nearly impossible to explore for oil, is attacking companies like Boeing, trying to make CO2 illegal, and whining about how “shovel ready jobs” didn’t turn out to be just that. Get the message out.

You’re getting a preview of an Obama campaign theme for 2012: “I wanted to create jobs but the Republicans wouldn’t let me, in order to protect their friends in Big Business.”

same usual crap of words but a different day and a different year.

He never says anything new, it’s all the same recycled crap of old and yet some dumb loons still think he has the answers for this economy.
I would have thought even now that the most lunatic dumb loons would have woken up by now.

Of course the crap we call media covers for him and never tells the public the truth or the facts, i.e. his illegal uncle now getting arrested for DUI, with a valid SS number

Obama Whining About Transportation/Aviation
Only way to put workers back to work he says, is to fix trans and aviation with his people.

Barry, the way to "put workers back to work" is to: Get The Fed Off The Private Sector's Back!

The Fed, aka YOU, needs to be business friendly, not only 'union friendly'. Business needs to know that if they start something they won't be stopped 1/2 way by some EPA Nazi. Or some eco-Nazi group going Federal Judge Shopping until they find one that agrees to demand some BS impact statement. And they need to know that Business TAXES will be stable, along with ALL Federal Regulations (Hi Cass Sunstein), and the NLRB will STFU about everything.

If YOU did that, all your Union buddies would be working overtime. And not only the few unions it takes to build or repair a road, but every Union. Plus non union workers that will get business and money from all those workers who are now employed and the companies they work for. Which would mean more money flowing into the US Treasury and help with that DEFICIT thingy.

To repair a Bridge you pretty much need only Iron Workers, Laborers and some Teamster truck drivers. And to build a new road, it takes only a handful of different Unions. But when you build a Hi-Rise Building you have almost every Union involved in that project, plus Non Union workers in Engineering Departments, Estimating, and Project Managers. And here's a FREE clue Barry -- the FedGov doesn't build many Hi-Rise Buildings. The Private Sector does (see Donald Trump). So that's the economic engine that needs a jump start right now.

In the Chi Metro Area we can always tell when times are good -- Tower Cranes fill the skyline. And right now there ain't any Tower Cranes.

Guess what that means Barry.
