Written on August 30, 2011 Obama Has Tour Buses Flown to Stump Speeches..

Apparently President Obama only rode the buses for a couple of miles at a time, spending the rest of the time flying from community to community in Air Force One. What’s more, the buses were flown from stop to stop as well. It’s normal practice for the President’s entire motorcade to be loaded up on cargo planes and flown from destination to destination. The buses were just a new part of that motorcade.

But why wouldn’t the presidential limousine have sufficed? Or one of the other armored vehicles that routinely travel with the President? Apparently because the President wanted the imagery of a bus. And buses are what he got.

Obama Picks Gas Tax For First Round of Fiscal Fight
By Chris Stirewalt

Published August 31, 2011
FoxNews.com

Obama Starts Fall Campaign with Defense of Gas Tax

“Today, POTUS will call for extension of the transportation bill which expires 9/30. If not extended, nearly a million will be out of work. Normally, we wouldnt have to worry about this, but the FAA debacle shows we cant assume people wont use it as a chance to drive their agenda”

Tweet from White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer

President Obama wants Congress to quickly pass an unconditioned extension of the federal gasoline tax, which is set to expire at the end of the government’s fiscal year on Sept. 30.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/08/31/obama-picks-gas-tax-for-first-round-fiscal-fight/#ixzz1WcSsoUPP

The tax is the Obama agenda in microcosm: The program takes money from everyone to fund infrastructure projects, some environmentally friendly initiatives and treats union workers favorably. It also shows the challenge he faces in selling a broader program of tax increases for stimulus spending. Explaining to Americans why paying 18.4 cents more for a gallon of gas is no easy feat.

He is lying! With the kind of money they were spending all potholes in the US should have fled for their lives to Canada. They are mostly safe and noxious on our streets and rotten bridges.

Obama: Failing to extend highway bill inexcusable

By JULIE PACE, Associated Press – 15 minutes ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — Warning of dire consequences for the nation’s workers, President Barack Obama on Wednesday urged Congress to extend a federal highway bill that he said would protect a million jobs.

“For construction workers and their families across the country it represents the different between making ends meet and not making ends meet,” Obama said during a speech in the Rose Garden.

At issue is the renewal of a transportation spending bill that expires Sept. 30. A Senate proposal would last only two years and cost $109 billion, while the House is considering a longer, six-year bill that could cut spending from current levels.

The president said 4,000 workers would be immediately furloughed without pay if the bill is not extended, and a significant delay could lead to 1 million workers losing their jobs over the next year.

“All of them will be out of a job just because of politics in Washington,” Obama said. “That’s just not acceptable. It’s inexcusable.”

Oh, he would take responsibility if the news were good and we all worked so hard for him, you know.

All he needs to do is step out the Marxist ponzi scheme and we won’t bother him. It’s nothing personal or “political” power struggle, but the narcissists always narrow it down to them not being loved or us not wanting them to be successful.

Oh well, stuck on stupid is stuck on stupid.

Most FAA infrastructure construction jobs are awarded via contracts to the private sector. The FAA does not have the technical or management skill sets like DOD has.

Watching them plot out this attack strategy every-day on MSNBC it dawned on me once again (as I used to point out last year) that Republicans should respond by repeating over and over how Democrats beating the drum for more stimulus and how bad unemployment is should be a reminder how Democrats have failed.

In spite of Pelosi losing the House. Republicans need Obama to own this economy failure , Bush is not POTUS nor is McCain, it's Obama. Obama wants you to think Boehner is now 'unemployer and chief', not him.

And use Democrats words against them:”More of the same(that failed)?”

Make their calls for another stimulus be a reminder how the stimulus failed big time,

For thousands of workers, this “represents the difference between making ends meet or not making ends meet,” Obama said at the White House. Allowing political considerations to potentially block the bill’s renewal is “just not acceptable. It’s inexcusable.”

The president was joined during his remarks by top officials from the Democratic-leaning AFL-CIO and the Republican-leaning Chamber of Commerce.

He doesn’t have a jobs plan other than to spend government money and accrue more debt and steal more taxpayer dollars...anything else is beyond his comprehension.

Building an atmosphere where people innovate, accrue wealth, and live prosperous and free is above his pay grade and not supported by the communist manifesto.

Flying buses in airplanes. That’s his idea of transportation? No wonder his economic ideas are so half-baked.

Explaining to Americans why paying 18.4 cents more for a gallon of gas is no easy feat.

Under Bush, gas was $1.84. Oboma has more than doubled our burden. Now, he wants more.
His goal is not to aid the middle class. His goal is to destroy it (Alinski). If he can get the middle class so impoverished they have to sign up for government programs to survive, he could trap millions of new voters into government dependency.

Never listen to what the politicians say. Watch what they do. By their fruits ye will know them.

The stimulus bill is written and sitting in the transportation committee of the Senate. - S.942.

The bill was presented and read into the record by Patty Murray, who wrote it to fund a Gateway project in her home state for SSA, the company that employs her husband. It mainly benefits Goldman Sachs and Warren Buffet’s BNSF, but Peabody coal is also a major player and that is why Richard Trumpka is so involved. Trumpka is the former head of the United Mine Workers.

The Obama anti-coal regulations hurt most Eastern coal companies, but help the PRB coal from the western coal regions. Many of the regulations which put the Eastern coal fields out of business, are designed to force power companies to update the coal burning plants to use the sub-bituminous coal instead.

This is the same “republican” Chamber of Commerce that wanted Congress to quickly pass the “debt ceiling deal” complete with revenue enhancements.

It is the same CoC...isn’t it?

Spend more money on roads, bridges, etc,:

- all of which will require years of front end design and engineering,
- then years of permitting and approvals,
- then months of competitive bidding and sub-contracting,
- steel purchased from China, Korea or Japan,
- and finally, maybe, actual construction by illegal immigrants and their SEIU supervisors.

In the meantime, here's your extended unemployment check and some Govt healthcare. Vote for me or you're a racist and can go straight to Hell.
