Only way to put workers back to work he says, is to fix trans and aviation with his people. And he has jobs council identifying infrastructure projects to put people to work.
(In short, he wants more stimulus money.)
A preview of his jobs speech no doubt.
He wants more taxes to spend on bridges, roads, etc.

He should have done infrastructure immediately in his stimulus. Those jobs have long lead times and would not affect anything big time for a couple of years. Obama knows that. Why didn’t he do that first?

We know this is all just political pandering, will have little affect on the economy, and has even less chance of making it thru Congress, but I guess he has to try.
The damage has been done, 2.5 years of Obamacare, the price of gas doubling and $1.6T in deficits are “coming home to roost”.
He is going to get desperate, but what choice does he really have right now?
