Kristinn, I respect the fact that your group has been out there faithfully at Walter Reed. You deserve a boatload of kudos for it.
Thank you.
My daughter worked with them and now is working at the new “Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda Maryland”
Thanks for all the time you and the others put in there - I always spent time with your writeups and liked the picts.
Thanks again for your time
Frankly, closing Walter Reed is a very dark day IMO.
It’s part of our legacy being destroyed. The older buildings could have been replaced, the facility kept open.
Ten years ago, in the wake of the September 11 terror attacks we vowed to defend our troops on the homefront and not allow the anti-American left to do to the troops what they did to them during and after Vietnam.
Your steadfast support at Walter Reed has been a crucial morale boost for countless wounded warriors, their families and Walter Reed staff.
BTTT!
Kristinn, I sure enjoyed the times I was in DC for the Friday night “freeps” at the entrance to the hospital. I wonder if the regulars will be at the new facilities...
Of course it all got started due to the pinkos being there with their horrible signs. I wonder whatever happened to Code Pink. Never hear much about them these days, probably because they are happy with obammy.
An era has passed. What you guys did there for the troops...
and I stood out there with you on a rainy night in September
three years ago and was totally impressed with your dedication
....is heroic.
I know you will be welcome wherever they are...all of you!
Thank you and all the WR FReepers for what they have done to
honor those troops who did so much for our country.
Thank you

Thank you! God bless you.
Great job DC Chapter!
God bless our troops!
Thank you. May God Bless you, all those who weathered all weather and the Wounded Warriors you were supporting.
Damn fine job.
Thank you all.
I hate to sound like an idiot, but I haven’t been keeping up with the threads and I don’t know what’s going on.
Kristinn, my wife and I are active duty military, and she is TDY there right now as a nurse, moving patients. Her name is 1Lt. April Oliver. I’m sure there are lots of people there but if you happen to run into her, give her a hug from her hubby!
Thank you!
DC Chapter leads the way. God Bless you all.
Kristinn
Thank you for posting. At least the Army Times did us up right. Great picture of Chad saluting the ambulance. You can even see our banner in the back ground.
And we were surprised that Col. Coots walked outside the gate and shook our hands - icing on the cake.
Kburi should be posting a thread with more pictures.
