He should apologize for misleading the country, says The Washington Post's conservative columnist George Will on ABC's This Week on Sunday:
Five hundred and sixty five pages and a simple apology would have been in order in some of them. Which is to say, the great fact of those eight years is we went to warbig war, costly warunder false pretenses. And
to write a memoir in which you say essentially nothing seriously went wrong
if I wrote a memoir of my last week, I would have things to apologize for.

Talk show host Larry Elder brought up Will's comments on his show. (Elder thinks that Cheney does not have to apologize.)
I think George Will is wrong on this issue.
I think George Will should apologize to America for the way he dresses.
Dick Cheney does not owe any apology.
And, while he's at it, he should apologize to Dick Cheney.
The Sage from South Central is always right.
How about an apology from Billy Bob Clinton for decimating the CIA?
George Will is full of crap
George Will seems to like to spread lies. We did not go to war under false pretenses but for multiple reasons that were all authorized by Congress as well. Saddam Hussein was an openly sworn enemy of the United States-, who had possessed WMD and was continuing to seek them, had multiple terrorist ties and had supplied and trained terrorists, had sought to attack a U.S. President and US troops overseas, and committed the worlds greatest act of terrorism with his intentional burning and dumping of oil into the air and seas. He was a serious threat to this nation and to the world.
It is the likes of George Will who should apologize for continually lying about this issue.
And for that $2 haircut.
I think George Will should just generally apologize to America ;-)
Heads exploded so far....
1. Colin Powell
2. George Will
George Will should apologize for calling himself a Conservative.
I’ll take it even further.
Dick Cheney is a great American and has served this nation for over 40 years with honor and distinction. Cheney doesn’t owe anyone an apology for his time as SecDef or as VP.
George Will is a northeast “conservative”. I’d say his politics have morphed more libertarian lately, and that means he misses the mark about half the time. Stuff it, George!
George needs to stick to writing about baseball.

The WMD was a minor, appeasing sideshow, magnified in hindsight by the EnemyMedia. Another failed aisle-crossing, appeasement misstep by Bush.
Our main goal was to run al Qaeda’s insane asses into the ground in their own front yard. Mission accomplished.
That said, even if a plethora of WMDs had been stacked like cord wood at the gates of Baghdad it STILL wouldn't have been enough for agenda-laden Beltway elites like Swill.
Dick Cheney to Georgie: I’m sorry I kept your sorry A** safe. I should have let terrorists kill you.
George Will is trying to remain relevant (if ever that were the case); but somebody help-me-out here. Didn’t the United States ship 500 metric tons of yellow-cake uranium from Iraq to Canada for use in their power generators. And, while we were dithering, er...gathering approval from nations united, wasn’t other materiel removed to Syria? ‘cause Syria’s really got alot of that stuff now, don’t they? Isn’t that the concern, should “Basher” lose control?
Cheney ruined and hijacked the Bush presidency after picking himself for Vice President and larded the Administration will his selections. Cheney managed to expand a few hundred AQ members from Saudi Arabia into a few billion everywhere. Cheney ushered in the New American Century.
Seppuku.
Sometimes it's the only way.
