In relative terms, yes there is. What the watermelons (green commies) refuse to acknowledge is that we already live in the Hydrogen age. The storage issue has been taken care of for us, it comes bound to long chains of Carbon. The production issue is solved too, we drill into the Earth and pump or dig it out. Hydrocarbon energy is the most abundant, lowest environmental impact source of energy there is.

They refuse to admit this because what they're really driving for is not a clean energy policy, it's a low energy policy. Low enough so that everyone will be so busy scraping up sustenance that there will be no organized opposition.
