Kinky Friedman: ‘Obama has done for the economy what pantyhose did for foreplay’

When Kinky Friedman mounted his unlikely Texas gubernatorial campaign against Rick Perry in 2006, he articulated a “dewussification” of Texas platform. Friedman has apparently since realized that what he has in Texas is much better than what the rest of the country has.
On Monday’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Friedman explained why Perry is his candidate for president and Obama isn’t.

I was gonna say girdle, but it's more in the line of a chastity belt. I remember in high school, a date with a beautiful, charming girl a couple of inches taller than me, kissing her passionately while she lay on her back on a set of concrete steps and fumbling helplessly with her girdle. I don't really miss high school. Or girdles.

My first encounter was when I returned from overseas in 1970. It was impossible to gracefully remove panty hose from a girl.

Even as he’s a relatively flaming liberal, he’s always been a wordsmith and can cut a phrase with the best.
I’m thinking Kinky sees Perry’s rise as a good opportunity to get his face back public. He is a great Barnum and Bailey huckster, all black, bedazzled cowboy hat and the stoogie.
Don’t mind him jumping on the Perry bandwagon, even if it was a long jump from left field.
