AUSTIN - Gov. Rick Perry and Democratic challenger Bill White agree that while plans to build a mosque near Ground Zero have stirred controversy, they don't object to a local decision affirming the Islamic group's right to build it. A New York City planning commission voted this week to clear the way for a planned Islamic community center and mosque near the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

I would say that it’s more a reflection of his attitude toward Muslims and Islam. Anyone who doesn’t fully realize the danger that they pose the American freedom should not be in a position of authority.

Perry's relationship to muzzies and islam is a mixed bag at best. I would prefer he take a harder line against muzzies generally but then I'm not the governor of a very large state. However, to say he doesn't recognize the potential threat of certain sects of islam might be a stretch. If some sects of islam the religion can divorce itself from islam the (sharia)law, there's nothing inherently wrong with their belief system; except that it's probably wrong. But, who's to say. When the law and the religion come in the same package is when things become dicey. The irony of this is it's the same argument libtards have been using against conservatives for decades. I'm sure you've heard most of it.

For my part I wouldn't trust a muzzie with the family jewels or even the car keys but I have that right as an individual. A governor, or a president for that matter, has to walk a finer line IMHO.

Glad to help.

You can try to twist this any way you like, the plan introduced was Perry’s plan. The federal government did not dictate that he introduce the Trans-Texas Corridor he did. What’s more, you know it.

Why do you come here and try to spin stuff you’re caught red-handed on?

You may not want my vote for Perry, but you’re sure blowing smoke so others won’t see him for what he is.

I linked you to the governor’s own page, where it states he introduced the Trans-Texas Corridor.

Then you tried to spin the whole thing to be a federal project forced on Perry.

Link me to where the federal government mandated a 2000 meter wide right of way going right through the state of Texas. I’d like to see that.

>> If some sects of islam the religion can divorce itself from islam the (sharia)law, there's nothing inherently wrong with their belief system; except that it's probably wrong.<<

All Muslims use the Quran as their holy book. The Quron calls for Muslims to eliminate all Jews, Christians and non believers by force if they don’t convert. That’s not an issue only with the “radical” Muslims. It’s a directive from the holy book for ALL Muslims.

The so called moderate Muslims are only laying low, though some don’t even realize it, and will go violent when their numbers are high enough to give them the impetus. Complacency at this point will without doubt come back to destroy this country.

I guess you want them to starve on the streets. They’re not going home. And there is not a politician in this country advocating deporting any of them but the criminals. Not even palin. At least Perry is emptying our prisons of them. Those guys ARE being deported. That’s more than any other politician is doing.

Pardon me. I’ll look elsewhere for answers from here on, Doughty.

You're not looking for answers, that's why you avoid clicking on links. You’re looking to deflect, deny, obfuscate and/or any other ignoble tactic your mind tells you might help in avoiding the ugly truth about ILLEGAL alien defender, RINO Rick Perry.
