Newt, the 'Comeback Kid'
Newt 2012 Campaign | 08/29/2011 | Michael Krull

Posted on 08/29/2011 4:55:48 PM PDT by Glenn

Dear Glenn,

Even the mainstream media is starting to notice that Newt Gingrich is making a comeback.

Check out this article in US News and World Report labeling Newt the next 'comeback kid.'

"The big-thinking Republican, his supporters, and presidential political experts sense that Gingrich...is on the way back. The reason for the emerging Newt 2.0? His effective performance in the last debate that inspired supporters to boost online donations after he assailed the deficit "super committee" while spelling out detailed solutions to fixing the economy."

This article is more evidence that our campaign's strategy is working. While other candidates are fighting amongst themselves, Newt is offering "leadership now" with real solutions for jobs, energy, and a balanced budget.

With 5 nationally televised debates and candidate forums already slated for September, this clear difference between Newt and the rest of the field will become more apparent.

As we saw a few weeks ago in Ames, Newt excels at the debates. And while we can't promise another "Chris Wallace moment," we can promise that Newt will continue offering leadership now with real solutions to America's challenges.

This makes September a critical month for the campaign, which is why we are asking for your help.

We have set an ambtious goal of raising $25,000 in the next 48 hours to make sure we are on strong footing for September.

Can we count on your support with a donation of $10, $25, $50 or more right now?

This money will go directly into utilizing the influx of support and interest that next month's debates and forums will generate.

Please donate today to give us the resources we need to grow during the critical month ahead.

Thank you again for your support.

Sincerely, Michael Krull Campaign Manager Newt 2012

P.S. With five nationally televised debates and major candidate forums slated for September, next month is a critical period for our campaign. Newt excels at the debates and donating now will give us the resources we need to make sure this campaign can take full advantage of the influx of interest and support these events will generate. Please donate today to give us the resources we need to grow during the critical month ahead.

Clinton.

And neither can keep their pants on, either.

Newt LOL He carrying around more baggage than all the major airlines.

All of a sudden the MSM and all the talking heads are trying to ressurrect these has-beens or want someone else to jump in and split the conservative vote.

With Mitt dropping like a rock there’s real concern with the chattering class.

He went to see Joe Lieberman’s doctor and he prescribed the same “Joementum” pills that Joe used in his last Presidental bid, I am sure they are going to work wonders....< /sarc >

I used to like him a lot. But that was before he started caring more about being liked by Democrats than speaking the truth. I have little but contempt for him now.

As I said before about ‘Mr. Newt’, he deserves conservative praise for what he did in the years leading up to 1994 and that great victory.

Unfortunately he went Washington with the sitting on the couch stupidity with Pelosi and his money grubbing. Time has certainly passed him by. He will however make an excellent director of NASA in the coming Perry, Palin, or Romney administration.

Doubtful. He just came in fourth in a statewide GOP straw poll in GA last weekend. If he can’t get it done here, I think he’s going to have a hard time.

I appreciate what Newt did in the 90s, but I do not trust him now. IMO, he has loyalty issues (politically and personally)

I like him too but he needs to cut bait. He’s a good author and is about due for a new book. Go home Newt it’s over.

The media, over the years, made him "soiled goods" over the years, even among us FReepers.

Newtie needs to get real and realize that.

But wouldn’t it be great to have Newt be the “designated debater” against Obama?

He would absolutely DESTROY “the One”.

A mover is heard directing a moving truck as a backup alarm can be heard beeping: “Come on back ... Monback ... Monback ... (crunch!) That’s good.”
