Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a commanding lead in the 2012 GOP presidential race, and that wont likely change if tea party favorite Sarah Palin decides to run, a new CNN/ORC International poll indicates....The polls data show that, for now, Mr. Perry is the clear favorite of tea party supporters. Ms. Palin won support from 10% of voters, leaving her in third place just ahead of Mrs. Bachmann.

Notice that was for Governor of Texas, not President of the US. There is a difference.
Governor Palin spoke to three Fox News colleagues yesterday. All three video interviews are posted here.
Or was it the spending article she retweeted? That, too, was posted here on FR.
I certainly hope you weren't addressing that to me as I have never once "smeared" Sarah Palin. I only posted good things she said about Perry.
From what I am reading, it's a fairly dramatic split, a lot of FR Texans dislike him or are fairly lukewarm about him. It's one of two things that makes me not trust Perry.
That's a lie and it's been refuted right here on FR plenty of times.
He was behind by 35 points 6-7 months before the election, was only ahead in the polls for a short time after he wrapped up the nomination, and was behind afterwards until the last debate. There is a Gallup chart thatr shows it clearly.
Palin, I like. Despite what many here think. I just feel that it’s necessary to point out the major disadvantage she has in the polls compared to, say, Perry. I don’t want to go all gung ho for Palin only to have her lose by 10 pts to Obama. COULD she pull it off? Sure, stranger things have happened...but let’s not delude ourselves.
Much like Ron Paul, I have a far bigger problem with Palin’s supporters than I do with Palin herself.
Cheers!
You're a disgrace to this forum.

A point I have made several tims while telling the zealots that they are doing their favored candidate NO favors.
What part of the DNC hacks defeated her with the very law she signed can you not understand? She will be drubbed with that over and over. They won. You can’t spin it any other way.
After watching a video of Todd answering the question if she sold out changed my mind completely about her. It wasn’t done for the good of Alaska but to cash in on the $$$$$. She had every right to do that but that doesn’t mean she is the best person to be the next POTUS.
I don’t dislike her, I just really believe that she isn’t fit for the highest office of the nation at this most critical time in our nation. We need someone who will have the experience to stay on the job even when the critics are trying to destroy you.
Every major poll out there has her losing to 0bama by double digits. We can’t afford another 4 years of hell.
Thanks for the research (sadly lacking on FR of late) and the ping.
snicker.... maybe you can pass that advise along to the Perry supporters... they have totally turned me off to him....
Nice try. Show me one place where I have lied. And no, just disagreeing with you does NOT constitute a lie, regardless of what you may think. You want to suppress anything that even hints of criticism of Sarah, and you call ME a disgrace to the forum? Give me a break!
You’re welcome. I’m so tired of seeing questionable things posted over and over just because they saw someone else post it. I do try to look things up.
Palin is not even a candidate yet.
I know she’s not running. Her supporters don’t seem to know that when they go after those who support actual candidates.
So if they believe she’s running, then I’m going to post my opinion on why I don’t think she’s fit for the highest office of the land at least at this critical time.
PALIN:(quickly typed)... still looking for a candidate I can get my heart and soul behind to support if I don't see that person in short order I would be willing to put my name forward in the name of service...KELLY: Have you not found him or her yet?
PALIN: No, I'm impressed with the line up but there still is quite a long process, lot of coming and goings with this line up... I know I'm not the only potential candidate sitting on the sidelines waiting to see things unfold.
Both sides of that border used hospitals from the other country when they had to, it's virtually a wilderness, yet you posted a link supposedly proving (in your small, perverted mind) that she's a hypocrite.
You're not just hinting at a criticism, you're going to the cesspool of liberal critique, one that exaggerates, defames, and out and out lies.
You're a despicable poster who knows what he (she?) is doing. You do this a lot, and frankly it's disgusting.
Excuse me - pointing out what Sarah's family admitted they did is defaming them? I didn't claim they were hypocrits, because I am not aware that they ever spoke against the citizens of one country availing themselves of the healthcare of a neighboring country. Now some of Sarah's SUPPORTERS seem to be hypocrits because they are willing to accept that behavior by Sarah and her family, but oppose it on the other side of the country.
