Why so glum, Michelle?

Man, how miserable is Michelle Obama?

About 2½ years into her ceremonial stint as first lady, Mrs. Obama seems to have had quite enough of the gig. More to the point, she doesn’t seem to have ever warmed to the second-fiddle slot as other first ladies before her did. And even more than that, she doesn’t seem all that happy with the man she married 19 years ago.

A look at just this past month is illuminating. On Aug. 9, the first lady sneaked out of Washington and flew aboard a government plane to Corvallis, Ore. On board, dozens of staffers, Secret Service agents, Mrs. Obama’s mother and one of the Obamas’ daughters (we never did find out who). No husband. Her office never announced the trip; the news was broken by Oregon’s Register-Guard newspaper.

“She’s on a private, family trip to meet with her brother and his family,” aide Semonti Stephens said.

But security for the first lady locked down a ritzy country club neighborhood. “We couldn’t go out and get our mail without first telling them our names,” a neighbor told the Register-Guard.

Of course, the optics were terrible. Just as the markets were melting down — and millions of Americans settled in to enjoy a “staycation” — the first lady was off on vacation, again. Why wouldn’t her brother — even his whole family — just slip into Washington for a couple nights at the White House during the summer break?

But things got really weird this month when the first family went on yet another vacation, this time a 10-day break on Martha’s Vineyard......

It’s tough for Michelle being zero’s beard. 0bama must be really edgy now that his ballerina boyfriend Rahm is away in Chi-town meeting the new pretty boys in the bath houses.

Can’t argue with you about her politics.

But I bet she wasn’t in favor of extending the “Bush” tax-cuts last December, or in his “caving” during the debt ceiling fight, etc., at least as the Democrats see it.

In other words I would bet she thinks he ought to have been a lot more of a manly, heavy-handed leftist than he has been.

Also, and maybe more important to her, she probably thinks he should have been a Leninist in such a polished manner that would have left him AND her much more popular, and poised for re-election (and even more damage).

She knows he’s a pansy and she knows we know it too.

I think it will be prescription meds. I believe he is loaded up on psychotropics.

As for her, she's turned into a bitter drunk. The face says it all.

MO is so glum because she’s at least smart enough to see Perry breaking it off in her beard husband, and she knows history is going to be very very very unkind to her.

She helped him steal the WH. She is probably twice as guilty as her husband, when you factor in the Jarretts.

I have a whole lotta disgust for the firstnlast couple but they do have beautiful children who are very unlucky to be involved. We and history should spare them.

Some of his public appearances regarding critical issues it seems that his eyes were as though he was drugged. And he appeared easily (or at least even more than usual) confused. He looked to me either drunk or drugged.

I work for a pharma company. Those drugs are a real crapshoot. A miracle for some, but often false hope or worse for others.

Michelle looks at Obama with total disgust. They are never “together.” A whole lot of hate going on behind closed doors. I think it’s pretty ugly for the girls. No one who has grown up that way would wish all that on any kid.
Mothers set the tone for the home. When she is mean, bitter, and angry the “home” is a scary place to be!

You could actually graph the Obama and commie co-horts bad luck that just as they were about to put a permanent global clamp on other people’s money (socialism), those people ran out of money at roughly the same time.

So very true. My son is 28 years old. He was diagnosed with ADD (I still don't know what that really is) at four. The diagnoses changed over the years. No medication worked. Most make him more of a challenge. The closest thing to a real diagnosis was OCD. Finally around 4 months ago he was prescribed Risperidone by physician who said our son was delusional. Within days his delusions started winding down. Fewer and fewer random, distracting thoughts. He is like a different person now.

So much medicine still does not know.
