Well, it looks like we have a new Anthony Weiner in town. A Puerto Rican TV show called Dando Candela presented Republican Senator Roberto Arango with naked pictures found on the Internet that they claimed were of him. He wouldnt deny the allegations, saying he had taken photos like that but only to document his weight loss. Of course, that doesnt explain the fact that the pictures were found on Grindr, a hook up site for gay and bisexual men.

I don’t know what party he’s in, but it’s probably being held at Barney Frank’s house.

“Document weight loss” that is really lame. And you know, how did they get on the internet? I don’t think weight watchers does that, even the online program!

The important thing is that this Anthony-waggler is not a Republican United States Senator.

Oh, thank you, thank you for that link.
To save the sanity of others here: there's a photo of him on all fours displaying his, um, mangina to the camera.
Nice. How attractive. How hotcha.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. (Seinfeld reference, hold off pounding the Reply button, please.) I must admit, I really don't get it. What could possibly be so fetching about such a view. I mean, eww.
Perhaps it's just that when you look at a politician, it's always so hard to tell which end is up. (Consider John Edwards. I rest may case.) So maybe he was doing his constituents a favor? "Here, if it looks like this when I'm making campaign promises, please flip me right-side up." If so, it's commendable, a real public service.
Now I gotta go make some Clorox eyewash.

I already ackowledged my mistake in a previous post (#63). That does not eliminate the fact that I was born in Spain, lived there for 22 years, and that was the only language I spoke until I came to the States.

Why not? That’s the original Spanish, the equivalent to the Queen’s English... Everybody else is derived from it. Why do you think that so many colleges are proud to offer Castillian Spanish?

I have a number of friends from Puerto Rico, but I don’t think I’ll mention this story to them ;-). Not the sort of thing one discusses with distinguished deacons or ladies in their 70s.

I wonder if George Greanias, Houston’s Metro transit system’s CEO who got busted for surfing for gay prostitutes on company computers on company time, switched to searching hook up sites. He claims that he never “broke the law” (meaning he didn’t actually PAY for sex).

Because Puerto Rican Spanish is to Castillian what Brooklyn Americanese is to the Queen’s English.

If you’ve forgotten how to conjugate the verb to be, it must have been a loooong time ago that you were proficient in Spanish.
