Terriers can be pieces of work (I know... I have had several). They are smaller dogs who assume they are the size of a big dog. I know... my Cairn Terrier is the Alpha. My German Shepherd lets him think he’s the Alpha to keep the peace.

My little Cairn is definately the alpha, and other, bigger dogs accept that. She’s my first small dog ever, and quite an experience. Lovely dog, but, except for me, she’s the boss of it all.

I have an 80-pound Lab, and one of my sisters has a 10-pound miniature Dachshund. Whenever they come to visit, her dog charges mine periodically. We always say that he has the short-man syndrome.
