I think the NC law is wrong, but I was pointing out why they might be thinking there would be civil unrest.
I’d also point out that counting on everyone pulling together isn’t a great idea unless you have a backup.
We agree on that “backup” point.
There might be civil unrest? All the more reason to NOT make it a crime to have a means of self defense.
Does anyone really believe that those that took the time to get a permit to carry concealed are going to be the ones looting the local WalMart?

I agree. It is something you hope would happen, something you may wish for but you better not PLAN on it happening. Making up plans for a disaster of some type or other usually involves dealing with negative aspects not positive ones. Just a thought.
